Bronear ship all over the world. Please see below for a breakdown of the shipping process relevant to your location.
Within South Africa: Free of Charge. Door-to-door courier service with a trackable link. Average delivery time of +- 3 working days from dispatch. If product is ordered on a 'pre-order' basis, you can expect your order within 3 weeks from date of purchase. Item(s) are insured.
Rest of World: International Postage with a trackable link. Average delivery time of +- 4 weeks from dispatch. Shipping rate will be calculated on checkout. If product is ordered on a 'pre-order' basis, you can expect your order within 4 - 6 weeks from date of purchase. Item(s) are insured.
Our policy lasts 15 days. If 15 days have gone by since you received purchase, we cannot unfortunately offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, if we are unable to track you on our orders history we will require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Situations Where Only Partial Refunds Are Granted:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 15 days after receipt of delivery.
Once your return item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, only then will your refund will be processed as a credit on bronear.co.za. If otherwise stated, please provide your banking details for a fund reversal. A refund reversal will be less a 3.9% Payment Gateway fee (not applicable if the transaction was made via EFT). We are unable to reverse to credit cards.
Late or Missing Refunds:
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and send your item to: 8 Brian Street, Lyme Park Johannesburg Gauteng ZA 2191.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over R1,000, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
We cannot be held responsible for water damage to your watch. Even though most of our watches are manufactured to be able to withstand certain water depths, we strongly advise that you rather take off your watch before swimming or showering. Most models (not all) are regarded as water resistant not water proof.
Q: I live in Johannesburg, can I pick up my order?
A: Nah, nor would we recommend it! Here at Bronear we don't charge for local shipping so there's no need to collect. But if you really are insistent on collecting, let us know by adding a note to the checkout and we will make a plan for you to collect from an address in Sandton.
Q: How long after I place my order can I expect to receive my product(s)?
A: Unless there is a 'pre-order' symbol on the product picture, we have the item in stock and will ship the following working day after receiving payment. It will then take a maximum of 3 working days to reach you anywhere in SA. If the product is on 'pre-order' then there is up to a 4 week lead time before you receive your item. Q: What shipping service do you use to ensure my product(s) arrive safely?
A: We use either FastWay or The Courier Guy and we send you a tracking link to track your parcels journey. We haven't had any issues with either and both are just as reliable as each other. It's our responsibility to make sure you're orders arrive and if for some unknown reason the first order does not arrive, we'll continue to re-send at no additional charge until you safely receive your item.
Q: Explain the different variety of watches you have and what's different about them?
A: So, we have Mechanical watches which are powered by the internal mechanisms of the watch. We have Quartz watches which are powered by a battery. Then we have a differentiation on size: Maximus are large, oversized watches and Minimalist are regular timepieces designed to fit your wrist comfortably.
Q: Do you have retail outlets?
A: Not yet unfortunately, but it is a goal of ours. We do operate a super slick online store though where you can read up about all the different models we have, add to cart and checkout safely and securely.
Q: Is it safe to buy on bronear.co.za?
A: Completely. At no stage do we store any customer credit card details, we leave this to the experts at PayFast who encrypt all details. Your personal details are also 100% safe and we will never expose them to any third party. We also encrypt our browsing with the latest HTTPS which is a protocol for online safe communication. Here is some of the technical stuff on how your data is safe.
Q: Are the straps interchangeable?
A: All of our models have standard strap sizes with standard pins allowing you to swop them out for whichever strap you like.
Q: Can I easily change the battery?
A: Indeed. Some models don't take batteries at all (such as our Mechanical range), some take one battery and others take two batteries in order to display a stereoscopic display under the analog dial.
