Our range of Mechanical watches are powered by mechanical mechanisms within the watch whereas our Quartz range is powered by a battery. The mainspring of the mechanical masterpiece needs to be wound periodically to ensure the watch keeps ticking & remains accurate.
The ticking sound you'll hear on a mechanical watch is produced by the swinging of the balance wheel which moves the arms forward at a constant rate. This ticking sound is not heard on Quartz watches.
In the modern day, Quartz watches are more common & Mechanical watches are collected for aesthetic reasons, status & for their fine craftsmanship.
